Baking sheet, mixing bowl, electric mixer, spoon, spatula
- 0.5 cup butter, melted and cooled
- 0.5 cup granulated sugar
- 0.5 cup dark brown sugar, packed
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1.25 cups all-purpose flour
- 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
- 0.25 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 0.5 cup dark chocolate chips
- 0.5 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon sea salt, for sprinkling
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to cream together the melted butter and both sugars until light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla and mix until combined.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined. Stir in the dark and white chocolate chips.
Using a cookie scoop or spoon, drop the cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle with sea salt. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. Allow to cool before serving.
