  • 9-inch tart pan, rolling pin, parchment paper, pastry brush, pastry blender, measuring cups, measuring spoons

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 0.5 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 0.25 cup brown sugar
  • 3 apples, peeled and thinly sliced

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • In a medium bowl, combine almond flour, melted butter, and cinnamon. Mix until a dough forms.
  • Press the dough into a 9-inch tart pan and prick the bottom with a fork. Bake for 10 minutes.
  • In a small bowl, combine nutmeg, brown sugar, and apples. Mix until the apples are evenly coated.
  • Remove the tart pan from the oven and layer the apple slices in a rose pattern on top of the crust. Bake for 25 minutes.
  • Remove the tart from the oven and let cool before serving.
