Large skillet, wooden spoon, measuring cups and spoons, knife, cutting board
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
- 4 cups cooked white or brown rice
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté until fragrant.
Add the frozen vegetables and cook for about 2 minutes, or until thawed and heated through.
Stir in the cooked rice, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Mix until everything is well combined.
Push the rice to the sides of the skillet to make a well in the center. Pour the beaten eggs into the well and scramble until cooked through.
Mix the eggs into the rice and vegetables. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through.
Stir in the green onions and sesame seeds. Serve immediately.
