Equipment

  • Large skillet, wooden spoon, measuring cups and spoons, knife, cutting board

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
  • 4 cups cooked white or brown rice
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds

Instructions
 

  • Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  • Add the frozen vegetables and cook for about 2 minutes, or until thawed and heated through.
  • Stir in the cooked rice, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Mix until everything is well combined.
  • Push the rice to the sides of the skillet to make a well in the center. Pour the beaten eggs into the well and scramble until cooked through.
  • Mix the eggs into the rice and vegetables. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through.
  • Stir in the green onions and sesame seeds. Serve immediately.
