Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add lasagna noodles and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
In a medium bowl, mix together ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, basil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
Spread 1/2 cup of tomato sauce into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. Arrange 6 noodles over the sauce. Spread half of the ricotta cheese mixture over the noodles. Top with 1/2 cup tomato sauce, 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, and 6 more noodles. Spread the remaining ricotta mixture over noodles, followed by 1/2 cup tomato sauce and remaining mozzarella cheese.
Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes. Allow lasagna to cool for 10 minutes before serving.
