This family-favorite Grilled Cheese Sandwich recipe is a quick and easy way to make an indulgent treat for the whole family!

  • Griddle, spatula, butter

Ingredients
  

  • 4 slices of bread
  • 4 slices of cheese
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon dried herbs (oregano, basil, thyme, etc.)
  • null Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Heat a griddle or large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Spread the butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  • Place two slices of bread, butter-side down, on the griddle. Top each slice with a slice of cheese and sprinkle with the herbs, salt, and pepper.
  • Top with the remaining slices of bread, butter-side up.
  • Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown.
  • Carefully flip the sandwiches and cook for another 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Serve warm.
