I love creating recipes that combine two of my favorite flavors – French and American. So, when I wanted to make something special for a family gathering, I decided to make French Apple Fritter Bread. By adding a few French ingredients and swapping out the traditional American ingredients, I created a delicious and unique dessert that everyone loved!
I started by mixing up the dough, adding in some French butter, sugar, and apple cider. Then, I added in some apples that I had cut into small pieces. I finished off the dough with a generous helping of cinnamon and sugar. After letting the dough rest for a few hours, I divided it into two and put it in a loaf pan.
In the oven, the dough rose and the French Apple Fritter Bread looked amazing! The top was golden brown and sprinkled with more cinnamon and sugar. After a few minutes of cooling, I was able to take it out of the pan and cut into slices. The inside of the bread was soft and fluffy, and the apples were perfectly crunchy with the cinnamon and sugar coating. Everyone at the gathering was amazed at how delicious it was!
Now, I make French Apple Fritter Bread every chance I get. It’s a perfect combination of French and American flavors, and it always brings a smile to everyone’s face. Plus, it’s easy to make and doesn’t take too long, so it’s perfect for any occasion!
Variations: If you don’t have French apple cider, you can substitute regular apple cider. You can also switch out the apples for any other fruit that you like. For an extra special treat, you can add a scoop of French vanilla ice cream on the side.
Tips: When baking the bread, make sure to cover it with aluminum foil after about 30 minutes to prevent the top from getting too brown. To make sure the bread is cooked through, insert a toothpick into the center. If it comes out clean, the bread is done!
