This creamy and delicious macaroni and cheese was inspired by my childhood favorite. Growing up, I remember my mom always making this budget-friendly meal for family dinners or potlucks and it always received rave reviews. Now, I’m sharing my mom’s recipe with you so you can make it at home.

This macaroni and cheese is so creamy and cheesy, and it comes together in less than 30 minutes. Perfect for busy weeknights!

Variations

For a more flavorful macaroni and cheese, add some diced onion, garlic, and herbs. You can also add some cooked bacon or ham for a heartier dish. For a vegan version, use vegan cheese and substitute the butter and milk with vegan alternatives.
